Melissa Strom is a theatre trained American actress. Performance trademarks include excelling in both dramatic and comedic genres, being a triple threat artist and her love of dialects.

Recent television appearances include playing Rachel Lidge on CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR opposite Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and Emmy winner Richard Schiff. On DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES Melissa played the character Nikki opposite Felicity Huffman. Other notable appearances include MONK, COLD CASE, VALENTINE and THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO. Strom has been interviewed for Entertainment Tonight, Broadway.com, KCAL9 and CBS2 news.

Melissa's independent features include THE OLIVIA EXPERIMENT, SWEET OLD WORLD and the film RECONCILATION. She performed in Funny or Die's popular comedy short LET LORENZO with Lorenzo Llamas. Melissa has been fortunate to act in award winning short films that have screened in France, Berlin, Czech Republic, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oklahoma, Chicago, Boston, Florida, Hoboken, Utah and Temecula. Stage highlights include originating the role of Frankie Valli's daughter 'Francine' in the Tony Award Winning JERSEY BOYS Broadway national tour. Playing eighteen characters eight shows a week, Melissa and the original company broke box office records at the Curran Theatre, San Francisco and Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles. Jersey Boys was crowned the Los Angeles Ovation Award for Best Production.

At the Nokia Theatre LA Live complex in downtown Los Angeles, Melissa was honored to perform in the concert CHRISTMAS LIVE! She was delighted to share the stage with Christopher Lloyd and John Goodman in A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Kodak Theatre. At Garry Marshall's Falcon Theatre, she originated and reprised her role as Eleanor in CINDY AND THE DISCO BALL.

Regionally, she has performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade, ArtWorks, Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara, Starlight San Diego, Long Beach Playhouse, Pico Playhouse, ASK Theatre Projects, Bing Theatre, The Lot, the Hayworth Theatre, Dallas Summer Musicals and Fox Theatricals. Invited to perform seven plays at Scotland's Edinburgh Fringe Festival Melissa's shows included two UK premieres and the audience and critic favorite STARWARS TRILOGY IN THIRTY MINUTES.

She attended the University of Southern California's prestigious BFA acting conservatory. Scholastically, Strom graduated cum laude and was inducted into Mortar Board and Order of Troy. Artistically, the School of Theatre awarded Melissa the Tad Z. Danielewski Acting Award and the Kathy Wade Award for her choreography and dance.

Extremely close to her family, she currently lives in Los Angeles, but considers Plano, Texas her home.
