Goodbye Canarsie Official Selection


Excellent news! The film Goodbye Canarsie has made a big screen splash around Los Angeles. The film screened this past week at the AFI Showcase at the Landmark Movie Theatre. I play Frankie in the film. Set in the 1970's, Goodbye Canarsie follows a trio of Jersey fast talking mobster wannabes trying to get to Los Angeles and get out of trouble.


Goodbye Canarsie has also been invited to screen at the Newport Beach Film Festival. The film is scheduled to screen at the Edwards Island 2 Cinema through April 30th.


Congrats to everyone involved in the making of the film. Bravo!

Goodbye Canarsie Premiere



I am am ecstatic to to announce that the AFI film Goodbye Canarsie successfully premiered at the Mark Goodson Theatre. It was the first time I saw the film. I was excited gitty to see the completed version. Wow to see myself projected on the big screen was an experience unto itself. Words can't describe- it was so exciting. My mind was flooded with memories of filming and it was fun to see what takes made it into the film!



During the reception it was fun to see everyone I worked with on the film. My friend Darrin Revitz came along for the screening- I made her my official hand squeezer and supporter-love her! The cast signed the the movie poster and took pictures. It was a lot of fun!



Goodbye Canarsie Tag Line: 'When Sal a mafia hitman in training, is sent to kill is childhood friend, Warren Winkler, he is faced with the decision of his life. Will he bite the bullet and finish the job or throw everything away to save Warren's life?' I play Frankie, Warren's girlfriend. The film stars Tomas Pais, Nicholas Mongiardo-Cooper and myself Melissa Strom.



Goodbye Canarsie was written and directed by Daniel S. Muller. Produced by Kirby Stuart and Michael Pelusio. The film's editor Peter Widland. Original score is by Joe Delia. The projects costume designer is Jessica b. Simpson and the production designer is Rachel Payne. Goodby Canarise cinematographer is James Wall.
