I am am ecstatic to to announce that the AFI film Goodbye Canarsie successfully premiered at the Mark Goodson Theatre. It was the first time I saw the film. I was excited gitty to see the completed version. Wow to see myself projected on the big screen was an experience unto itself. Words can't describe- it was so exciting. My mind was flooded with memories of filming and it was fun to see what takes made it into the film!
During the reception it was fun to see everyone I worked with on the film. My friend Darrin Revitz came along for the screening- I made her my official hand squeezer and supporter-love her! The cast signed the the movie poster and took pictures. It was a lot of fun!
Goodbye Canarsie Tag Line: 'When Sal a mafia hitman in training, is sent to kill is childhood friend, Warren Winkler, he is faced with the decision of his life. Will he bite the bullet and finish the job or throw everything away to save Warren's life?' I play Frankie, Warren's girlfriend.
